The NSW Working with Children Check is a mandatory check for any adult working or volunteering in child-related roles in New South Wales. It is administered by the Office of the Children's Guardian and is continuously monitored for the full 5-year validity period.

The Queensland Blue Card is the working with children check for anyone working with children and young people in Queensland. It is administered by Blue Card Services and includes ongoing monitoring throughout the 3-year validity period.

The Western Australia Working with Children Card is required for child-related work in WA. It is administered by the Department of Communities.

The South Australian Working with Children Check is required for child-related work in SA. It is administered by the DHS Screening Unit and includes ongoing monitoring for the 5-year validity period.

The Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for work with children, the elderly, and people with disability in Tasmania.

The ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration is required for work involving contact with vulnerable people — including children, the elderly, and people with disability — in the Australian Capital Territory. It is administered by Access Canberra.

HLTAID012 is the nationally recognised first aid course required for educators working in education and care settings in Australia. It supersedes HLTAID004.
